Skeletal Remains Found After 4 Months: Father's Disturbing Secret

Skeletal remains of a 34-year-old woman named Priyanka were discovered in her home in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on Friday. The body had decomposed significantly over approximately four months. Priyanka resided with her father, Uday Bhan Biswas, who had reportedly been missing with her from the neighborhood for the same duration.

Relatives located Uday Bhan Biswas and, after initial evasions, he allegedly confessed that Priyanka had died and her body remained within the house. Police were alerted and gained entry, finding the remains. Neighbors reported limited interaction, but recalled Priyanka being unwell and frequently taken for treatment by her father.

Further inquiries revealed Priyanka had a long-standing illness and mental health challenges. The family also disclosed that Priyanka's mother died similarly in 2013, after which the father and daughter had lived in isolation and depression. The investigation into the exact cause of Priyanka's death is ongoing.
