A woman named Danielle Staley, 35, disappeared from Platforms Beach in Aptos, California, on November 6 after attending a beach party. Her personal belongings were discovered on the sand, but there's no indication she went into the ocean. Staley had been staying with her 62-year-old partner, Axl Nunez, in a camper near the beach since September.

Nunez stated he did not attend the party due to asthma and fell asleep in his van. He reported her missing the next morning. He is determined to find Staley, saying he will not stop his search. However, Staley's family has voiced serious concerns, describing their 13-year on-again, off-again relationship with Nunez as abusive and manipulative. Her mother insists Staley would not have left without her phone or purse.
