A Philadelphia woman, Wendy Wolf, is personally searching for her stolen blue Honda CR-V, which disappeared from her Port Richmond home early on June 22, 2026. Initially believing she might have misplaced it, Wolf soon realized her vehicle was stolen and has since been driving through various Philadelphia neighborhoods and surrounding areas in a determined, ongoing effort to find it.
Wolf's commitment stems from the emotional significance of the SUV, which is essential for her volunteer work rescuing cats. Her proactive search reflects a broader issue, as Philadelphia has experienced over 1,100 vehicle thefts in the preceding 28 days. Despite this, Wolf remains optimistic, expanding her search beyond Port Richmond into areas like Kensington and Camden.
To incentivize its return, Wolf is offering a distinctive reward: homemade chocolate pecan banana bread and cookies, in addition to any cash reward. This unique offer, combined with her personal quest, has garnered significant community attention and sympathy across the region as she continues her search street by street.
