A Wisconsin woman has been arrested and charged following a series of violent incidents on Monday, February 2, 2026. Katelyn A. Harmon, 25, is accused of intentionally striking two elderly pedestrians with her vehicle in a Gurnee shopping center parking lot.
The 79-year-old male victim sustained serious injuries, while the 60-year-old female suffered an ankle injury. Harmon reportedly posted about the incidents on Facebook, showing damage to her car and declaring her "good intentions."
Following the vehicle attacks, Harmon allegedly approached a man in a nearby parking lot and used a large kitchen knife to shatter his car window and slash his tire. A struggle ensued when the man exited his vehicle, resulting in lacerations to his hands before he disarmed and restrained her until police arrived.
When questioned by authorities, Harmon allegedly stated she was planning to murder someone and had "just went rogue." She is currently facing charges including attempted murder and aggravated battery.
