A disturbing incident unfolded on the Gurgaon-Faridabad road when a 25-year-old woman, after leaving home following an argument, accepted a ride in a van. The two occupants allegedly drove her to isolated areas, holding her captive for approximately three hours. During this ordeal, she was reportedly subjected to gang rape and severe physical assault before being thrown from the moving vehicle around 3 am.
Following the attack, the victim managed to contact her sister, who found her and immediately took her to the hospital. Due to the severity of her injuries, including significant facial trauma requiring stitches, she was transferred to a private hospital in Faridabad. The van, a Maruti Suzuki Eeco, was allegedly driven at speeds exceeding 90 kmph when she was ejected.
Authorities responded swiftly after the victim's family filed a complaint. An FIR was registered at the Kotwali police station, leading to the arrest of two suspects. The van involved in the crime has also been seized as part of the ongoing investigation into the brutal assault that occurred in a secluded area amid dense fog.
