Woman Found Shot to Death in Car Overnight

A fatal shooting occurred in southeast Atlanta overnight Wednesday, resulting in the death of a 36-year-old woman. Officers were dispatched to Springside Place following a report of shots fired at approximately 1:23 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a Range Rover stopped in the middle of the street.

Inside the vehicle, the woman was found in the driver's seat with multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Police have not yet released the victim's identity. Investigators are actively working the case, canvassing the neighborhood for potential witnesses and collecting evidence, but currently have no description of a suspect or any involved vehicles.
