The argument reportedly centered on Vijendra's persistent drinking and concerns about their children's well-being.
The couple, who shared a history of a love marriage, had been married for 11 years and were parents to two sons, aged nine and six. Vijendra, who worked as a driver and labourer, allegedly struggled with daily employment and frequently spent his time drinking, often leading to financial disputes with his wife.
