A drug dealer found with substantial amounts of cocaine and dangerous weapons has been sentenced to five years imprisonment. Thomas Harris, 30, of Bourton Close, Witney, received his sentence at Oxford Crown Court on January 16, 2026. He had previously admitted to charges including possession of an offensive weapon and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
Thames Valley Police confirmed the conviction followed a coordinated operation involving neighbourhood, drug, and road policing teams. Officers intercepted Harris's vehicle in Witney on November 19, 2025, discovering 52 bags of cocaine and two mobile phones. A subsequent search of his home uncovered more drugs, dealing paraphernalia, a butterfly knife, and an extendable baton.
Investigating officer PC James Carey commended the multi-team effort in disrupting illegal drug supply, expressing pride in bringing Harris, a significant figure in the drug trade, to justice. The force reiterated its commitment to combating drug dealing and protecting communities.
