A road rage incident in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, on October 28 led to the arrest of 19-year-old Oliver McSorley. McSorley allegedly began tailgating an 81-year-old motorist he deemed too slow. The situation intensified when McSorley aggressively cut off the older driver, leading to a minor bumper collision at a red light.
Both drivers exited their vehicles, and an altercation ensued. Court documents allege McSorley repeatedly punched the elderly man. Bystanders intervened, stopping the assault and contacting emergency services. One witness described the victim as being in the fetal position and feared for his life.
Authorities reported the victim suffered bruises, scrapes, bleeding from his ears, and eye injuries, necessitating transport to a hospital. McSorley later surrendered to police. During a recorded jail phone call, he allegedly boasted about the attack, stating he could have inflicted much worse harm.
