In Ghaziabad, police arrested Priya Sharma and gym trainer Pratap Singh in connection with the stabbing of Shashank Kantharia, Sharma's husband. Investigators learned that Sharma and Singh grew close while she trained at Singh's gym. They allegedly planned to marry and sought to eliminate Kantharia, who was aware of their affair and reportedly planning to move. The assault took place early on October 26, with Singh allegedly entering the home and stabbing Kantharia multiple times.
Following the incident, Kantharia raised an alarm, and Singh fled the scene. Kantharia was hospitalized in serious condition. The Indirapuram police registered a case based on Kantharia's brother's complaint, leading to the arrest of both accused and the recovery of the weapon used in the attack.
