A tragic incident in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, initially reported as a fatal hit-and-run, has been unraveled as a meticulously planned murder. Ashish, a newlywed, was killed on the evening of January 30 while on a walk with his wife, Anju. Anju reported that a vehicle struck them, and she was subsequently robbed of her jewelry and left unconscious.
However, police grew suspicious due to inconsistencies in Anju's statement and the medical report, which indicated Ashish had been strangled. Anju, married to Ashish for three months, had reportedly reconciled with her ex-boyfriend, Sanju, and together they allegedly planned the murder. Sanju, along with two associates, Rocky and Badal, is accused of carrying out the attack.
Anju's actions, including giving away her phone and earrings to simulate a robbery, and Ashish's injury patterns, ultimately led to the exposure of the plot. Police have arrested Anju, Sanju, Rocky, and Badal in connection with the crime, revealing a disturbing case of a 'honeymoon murder'.
