Police Scotland is investigating a linked series of five break-ins that occurred in the Highland town of Wick over a few days last week. The incidents primarily targeted businesses, with cash being stolen from premises on Union Street and a warehouse on River Street.
Authorities confirmed that break-ins took place on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. While cash was taken from some locations, nothing was stolen in other incidents on McArthur Street and Harbour Place.
Detective Sergeant Christopher Robertson is urging anyone with relevant information to come forward. He specifically requested the public to review any doorbell, dash-cam, or private CCTV footage that might assist in identifying the perpetrators.
