Whistleblower Alleges Involvement of IAS Officer, Minister in Job Scam

On November 10, 2025, Pooja Naik, an accused in a job scam case, was called to the Bicholim police station for interrogation. A day earlier, Naik had made public statements alleging that an IAS officer, a minister, and a PWD engineer were involved in the job scam.
During the interrogation, Naik reiterated the same two names she had provided earlier. She claimed that she was made to collect money from many job seekers on the promise that they would be recruited in the government, but no action was taken to provide them with jobs after receiving the money. Naik said she had pursued the matter with the people who took the money on several occasions, but they failed to return the money received as bribes to provide jobs.
Naik had earlier given an ultimatum to the alleged main accused to return the money to the job seekers and had threatened to expose them otherwise. After arriving at the Bicholim police station on Monday at around 11:30 AM, she was interrogated for half an hour. However, after the interrogation, the police let her out through the back door.
