Vardy Villa Raided: £80K Looted in Italian Dream Shattered

Footballer Jamie Vardy and his wife Rebekah Vardy have experienced a distressing burglary at their new villa in Salo, overlooking Lake Garda, just six weeks after relocating to Italy. The couple, who sought a more serene life away from the UK and the Wagatha Christie fallout, had their hopes for a peaceful existence shattered when their home was raided.

While Jamie Vardy was playing a match, burglars broke into the villa through an open window, making off with an estimated £80,000 worth of valuables, including jewellery and a Patek Philippe watch. A babysitter was present in a separate wing of the large property but did not realize the break-in was occurring. Police believe the perpetrators were aware of the couple's movements.
