Constable Attacked After Road Accident Near Lucknow

A constable of the Uttar Pradesh Special Security Force (UPSSF), Karan Singh Yadav, was severely assaulted on October 21st. The attack took place near Kalindi Mod in Lucknow after his scooter was involved in an accident with an unidentified vehicle. Enraged that Yadav called the emergency helpline 112, the driver of the offending vehicle reportedly summoned about 10 associates.
These individuals then brutally attacked Constable Yadav with sticks and an iron rod, inflicting serious head injuries. The constable lost consciousness during the assault and was subsequently transported to the Lucknow Trauma Centre for medical attention. After regaining consciousness and receiving treatment, Yadav was able to identify several of his assailants, leading to the registration of an FIR.
