UP Cop Questions Girls Near Temple; Viral Video Sparks Debate

A video circulating on social media captured a woman police officer engaging in a conversation with a group of young girls and a boy near the Sheetla Mata temple. The officer, identified as Manju Singh from the Women's Police Station in Mau, Uttar Pradesh, was present as part of the Mission Shakti initiative, which aims to enhance women's safety and awareness.

Singh noticed the minors roaming the temple premises and initiated a questioning to ensure their well-being. During the interaction, she contacted the girls' families by phone to confirm their identities and whereabouts. The families verified that the boy was related to the girls and were aware of their temple visit.

Following the verification, Manju Singh advised the girls' parents to ensure their daughters are never left unsupervised outside and are always accompanied by a guardian. The incident highlights the proactive measures being taken under Mission Shakti to safeguard young individuals and promote a sense of security within the community.
