Uber Driver Attacked, Car Stolen by Passengers

Two men have been charged following a violent incident where they allegedly attacked an Uber driver with a rock and stole her car. The driver reported that she had agreed to pick up a woman but was surprised when two men entered her vehicle.
She drove them to a nearby church, but at the drop-off location, the men assaulted her from the backseat with a rock. Fearing for her safety, the driver escaped by exiting the moving car. One of the assailants then took the driver's seat, and both fled in the stolen vehicle.
Later that night, police spotted the stolen car six miles away. A pursuit ensued, during which the suspects crashed the vehicle into a tree while attempting to evade officers. Isaac Johnson and Christopher Carrington were arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Carrington also faces an additional charge for evading arrest.
