On November 2nd, 2025, a Turquoise Alert was issued for 16-year-old Yolyn Hermios, who was last seen on the evening of October 30th near her home in Mesa, Arizona. According to the authorities, Hermios, who is of Pacific Islander descent, has not been seen or heard from since around 6 p.m. that day.
Hermios' family is deeply concerned, as her disappearance is described as "out of character" for the teenager. She is 4 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 110 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black shirt, red shorts, and black tennis shoes, and had green faded highlights in her hair.
The Mesa Police Department is actively investigating the case and has asked the public to contact them immediately with any information that could help locate the missing girl. This is only the second time a Turquoise Alert has been issued in the state, which is also known as "Emily's Law."
