Summary
- TTD trust board will file a fresh complaint to expose scam 'hidden faces'.
- A Lok Adalat settlement in 2023 led to the acquittal of the main accused.
- A reinvestigation is underway by CID and ACB following a high court order.

The TTD trust board has resolved to file a fresh police complaint to expose the individuals involved in the 2023 Parakamani scam. This decision comes after a Lok Adalat settlement on September 9, 2023, led to the acquittal of the primary accused, CV Ravi Kumar, a head clerk from Pedda Jeeyar mutt. He was apprehended for allegedly stealing $900 from devotees' offerings to Lord Venkateswara.
The trust board expressed serious concern over these developments, emphasizing the need to protect TTD's purity. TTD chairman BR Naidu highlighted the unusual acceptance of seven donated properties by the previous trust board from the accused, suggesting a past attempt to hush up the case through a compromise settlement.
Further complicating the situation, the suspected murder of former TTD vigilance official Y Satish Kumar on November 14, 2025, has deepened the mystery surrounding the case. The Andhra Pradesh high court has ordered the CID and ACB to reinvestigate the Parakamani case and submit findings by December 2, 2025, with the new complaint aiming to uncover additional hushed-up criminal activities.
