Tanya Tait, with a lengthy criminal record, was implicated in three separate attacks. On August 10, 2023, Tait and Antonio Harle violently assaulted a woman, rendering her unconscious and using her fingerprint to unlock her phone and access her bank account. This attack caused severe neurological and psychological damage.
In another incident on July 1, 2023, Tait was part of a group that attacked a man to steal his phone. The court acknowledged Tait's struggles with addiction but emphasized the severe impact on her victims. Harle received a 27-month sentence for assault.
