9 Feb
Summary
- Two women assaulted a couple, breaking one's teeth.
- A man was pushed onto live train tracks at Birmingham station.
- Assailants received suspended sentences and supervision orders.

Two intoxicated women, Morgan Cox and Ellouise Parke, both 23, attacked a couple at Birmingham New Street Station on April 11, 2025. The incident began when the women consumed the victim's drink, leading to an unprovoked assault. They punched and kicked the female victim, breaking her teeth and causing a bloody nose.
Subsequently, the male victim was shoved onto the live train tracks. Fortunately, he managed to return to the platform unharmed, though he sustained a head gash and bruises. The court heard about the lasting emotional and physical impact on both victims.
Cox and Parke pleaded guilty to two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. They received 12-month suspended prison sentences, Intensive Supervision Court orders, and were ordered to pay £100 compensation each to the victims. The judge noted the severity of the attack but considered their rehabilitation prospects due to early pleas and no prior convictions.
