Jealous Lover Kills Partner and Child Before Taking Own Life

On Friday, October 6th, 2025, a 35-year-old man, his lover, and her 2-year-old daughter were found dead in Lodariyar village, Ahmedabad district. According to the police investigation, the man, identified as Ranchhod Parmar, first killed the woman and her child before slitting his own throat.

Parmar, who worked at a private company, had been living in Lodariyar for about 20 days. He was married, and his wife had filed an alimony case against him that was pending in court. Parmar was in a relationship with the woman, who had a 2-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. On the day of the incident, the woman and her daughter went to stay with Parmar at his rented accommodation.

In an 8-page suicide note, Parmar reportedly wrote that he wanted to kill his lover and her daughter as he was being threatened by another man who was also in a relationship with the woman. He mentioned that he was unable to bear the stress and humiliation caused by the situation.

The police have confirmed that the deaths were caused by wounds to the throats of the victims, inflicted by a sharp weapon. The bodies have been sent for postmortem, and the suicide note has been seized for handwriting verification. Further investigation is underway to verify the threats mentioned by Parmar in his statement.
