Tottenham Player Threatened at Gunpoint by Football Agent

In September 2022, Tottenham Hotspur player Destiny Udogie was allegedly threatened with a firearm by a football agent. The incident was reported to the Metropolitan Police, who arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of possession of firearms, blackmail, and driving without a license.

Despite the traumatic event, Udogie, a 22-year-old Italy international, continued to play for Tottenham. The club has been providing support to the player and his family since the incident and has stated that they will continue to do so. Udogie made his debut for Spurs in August 2023 and has since become a key part of the squad under manager Ange Postecoglou.

In May 2023, Udogie was part of the Tottenham team that won the Europa League, the club's first major trophy in 17 years. This achievement came just months after the alleged firearm threat, showcasing Udogie's resilience and the support he has received from his club.
