A man and woman have been charged with murder following the death of a 21-month-old boy in November 2023. Tobias-John Doyle was taken to hospital from an address in Leicester on November 29, 2023, and tragically passed away three days later.
Omiel Gordon, 35, and Shalom Morgan, 23, both of Leicester, were initially arrested when Tobias was admitted to hospital. They have now been formally charged with murder, as well as causing or allowing the death of a child and child cruelty.
Leicestershire Police have expressed their thoughts remain with Tobias and those affected by his death. They have confirmed increased police patrols in the affected areas to provide reassurance and encourage residents to speak with officers about any concerns.
