Titans Cornerback Indicted for Failing to Report Alleged Shooting Incident

In a recent legal development, Tennessee Titans cornerback L'Jarius Sneed has been indicted in Texas on a misdemeanor charge of failing to report an aggravated assault to law enforcement. The alleged incident took place on December 6, 2024, in suburban Dallas.

According to court records, Sneed and another man, Tekonzae Williams, were in a Lamborghini Urus when the alleged shooting occurred. Two men, Christian Nshimiyimana and Avi Ahmed, were sitting in a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon on a vehicle dealer lot when they claim they were shot at from the Lamborghini. No one was hit by the bullets, but the Mercedes-Benz and a nearby building were struck.

The Titans have acknowledged the "legal matter" involving Sneed and are in contact with the NFL security per league protocol. Sneed's agent, Jason Katz, has declined to comment on the situation.

Sneed, a two-time Super Bowl champion with the Kansas City Chiefs, was traded to the Titans last year and signed a contract that made him the NFL's fifth-highest-paid cornerback at the time. However, his 2024 season was cut short due to a quadricep injury, and he was placed on injured reserve last month.

The lawsuit filed by Nshimiyimana and Ahmed seeks at least $1 million in damages from Sneed and Williams. The indictment against Sneed does not provide further details about the alleged incident, but it is clear that the legal repercussions are still unfolding for the Titans player.
