In Barwani, a special court has sentenced three individuals to a decade of rigorous imprisonment each, along with a fine of Rs 25,000, for their role in a fatal incident. The conviction stems from the death of Phul Singh, which was precipitated by a dispute over a mere Rs 100. The money was borrowed by one of the accused to participate in a card game.
The tragic events unfolded on March 29, 2026, near the Tantneshwar Mahadev temple. Phul Singh was engaged in a card game when Manish Solanki, one of the defendants, borrowed Rs 100 from him. An hour later, Singh requested the repayment, leading to a heated refusal and aggressive behavior from Solanki. The other two convicted men joined Solanki in physically assaulting Singh with kicks and fists.
Following the assault, Singh was taken home by other attendees of the card game. He later complained of severe chest, abdomen, and facial pain. Tragically, Phul Singh was found dead in the early hours of the morning, with the court holding the three men responsible for his demise.
