A brazen nighttime burglary in Kota, Rajasthan, took an unexpected and comical turn when the perpetrator became irrevocably stuck in an exhaust fan shaft. The incident unfolded in the early hours of January 4, 2026, as the homeowner returned to find the thief wedged in the kitchen shaft.
Authorities report the suspect entered the residence intending to steal valuables but became trapped while attempting to exit through the narrow exhaust opening. While his accomplice made a swift escape, the trapped thief dangled for approximately one hour before locals intervened and alerted the Borkheda jurisdiction police.
