Texas Mom Arrested in Brutal Family Stabbing

A disturbing incident unfolded in Northlake, Texas, on Tuesday, October 6, when Holly Flores was arrested for allegedly stabbing her husband and their two young children. The victims, an infant son and a 3-year-old daughter, along with their father, were all stabbed.

Authorities reported that the husband was stabbed in the head, while the children sustained stab wounds to the chest. All three victims survived the brutal attack and were transported to a local hospital. Police Chief Robert Crawford indicated that the children's injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Flores, 37, was apprehended by officers shortly after their arrival at the residence. She also sustained injuries and received medical attention before being booked into the Denton County Jail. She faces charges including attempted capital murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Records indicate that Northlake police had visited the residence at least five times in the preceding seven months due to welfare concerns. The motive behind the alleged attack remains under investigation by the Northlake Police Department.
