Michael Chadwick Fry, 41, has been arrested and charged with abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence in Texas. The charges stem from an incident where Fry allegedly threw a bucket containing suspected human remains over the fence at the FBI's Dallas field office. He reportedly posted a video of the act on YouTube, claiming he aimed to expose alleged wrongdoing by Denton County officials.
Investigators discovered that the bucket thrown at the FBI contained numerous bones believed to be human, which are now undergoing forensic analysis. Further investigation revealed Fry had also posted a video of what appeared to be a human skull at his home. Additionally, evidence suggests Fry stole an urn with human remains from an Oklahoma City cemetery and disturbed a mausoleum in Denton, Texas.
Fry's mother reported he had asked her for money to move a body, and his sister alerted officers after seeing his YouTube videos. This is not Fry's first brush with the law, as he previously rammed a truck into a FOX 4 building in 2018 over a dispute related to a friend's death in a police shooting.
