On November 11, 2025, a tragic incident occurred in Northwest Delhi when a tenant named Tamanney died after being assaulted by his landlord, Irshad. According to the police, the 31-year-old Irshad had been taking daily Termin injections to boost his strength, and he allegedly confined and beat Tamanney and his roommate Virender for over two days.
The matter came to light last Friday when Tamanney and Virender reached out to their friend Nazim, claiming that Irshad had assaulted them. Tamanney complained of extreme pain and initially took painkillers, but his condition worsened, and he was taken to a hospital on Saturday. An ultrasound revealed a large amount of blood in his abdomen.
On Sunday, as Tamanney was giving his statement to the police, he suddenly fainted and was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead. Based on Tamanney's statement, the police registered a case of murder and arrested Irshad. During questioning, Irshad claimed he suspected Tamanney of trying to delete a video of an alleged theft at his factory and also suspected him and Virender of stealing some of his rare coins.
