Teen Trio Arrested in Park Stabbing Murder

Three teenagers, all from Chelmsford, have been taken into custody by Essex Police on suspicion of murder. The arrests stem from an incident that occurred in Central Park on Friday evening. Police were alerted to an attack around 7:00 PM BST.
Officers discovered a 21-year-old man with critical injuries at the park. Despite efforts, he passed away at the scene. A 14-year-old boy, a 17-year-old boy, and an 18-year-old man were subsequently arrested in connection with the fatality. They currently remain in police custody.
Following the incident, the Chelmsford Central Parkrun announced the cancellation of its Saturday event, stating it was done on police advice. An air ambulance was observed at the location on Friday night.
