In Ghaziabad, a shocking incident unfolded early Saturday morning when a 15-year-old boy fatally stabbed his father. The fatal altercation took place in the Budh Bazaar locality of Loni. The deceased, identified as 58-year-old Irfan Ahmed, was attacked while he slept.
The violence erupted after Ahmed had intervened in an argument between the teenager and one of his sisters. The father reportedly reprimanded and slapped the boy, which led to his furious reaction.
Later that night, the teenager allegedly used a kitchen knife to attack his sleeping father, inflicting multiple wounds. Family members alerted neighbors and police, who arrived shortly after. The minor was apprehended and has reportedly confessed to the crime.
