Summary
- A 24-year-old man allegedly killed his 16-year-old cousin sister with an axe.
- The accused was reportedly in an inebriated state when he attacked the victim.
- Family claims prior police inaction fueled the fatal attack on Pallavi.

In Muraitha village, a 24-year-old man identified as Reelu allegedly murdered his 16-year-old cousin, Pallavi, using an axe on Thursday evening. Reelu, reportedly intoxicated at the time, forced his way into the house and attacked Pallavi, who was near the door, inflicting fatal injuries. He subsequently fled the scene with the weapon.
Family members of the victim have voiced allegations that police inaction following a prior incident, where Reelu allegedly attacked Pallavi's father about 15 days ago, contributed to the current tragedy. They claim the lack of decisive action at that time emboldened the accused.
Police have confirmed the incident and stated that multiple teams have been formed to apprehend the accused. A forensic team has collected evidence from the crime scene, and investigations are underway to determine the precise motive behind the brutal murder.
