Tragedy struck Thiruvananthapuram when 18-year-old Alan was fatally stabbed while attempting to de-escalate a conflict between local groups. Cantonment police have intensified their search for the key accused and five other suspects, believing some may have escaped to Tamil Nadu. Two individuals, Sandeep and Akhilesh, have been arrested and charged with murder under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, while two minors are also in police custody.
Alan, a native of Nettayam, was pursuing studies in Pune and aspired to a career in theological ministry. The incident, which occurred near the Sree Dharma Sastha Temple in Thycaud, highlights the dangerous escalation of local disputes. Police efforts continue to apprehend all involved parties and bring them to justice.
