A 16-year-old student, Abhiram MD, has been found deceased in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, days after he was reported missing. His body was discovered concealed within a sack on a vacant plot in Pangappara, leading police to suspect foul play. Three individuals, including a minor girl, have been taken into custody in connection with the case.
Preliminary investigations suggest a dispute stemming from Abhiram's friendship with a girl may have motivated the crime. Police are examining the possibility that the girl's Instagram account was used to lure Abhiram to a secluded area. The suspects reportedly confessed to strangling Abhiram with a belt before disposing of his body.
Abhiram was last seen on Sunday afternoon, having informed his family he was meeting friends. His family reported him missing when he failed to return home and his phone was switched off. An investigation involving CCTV footage and mobile data led authorities to the discovery of his body.
