A prank intended for Hall County teacher Jason Hughes tragically ended with his death, leading to criminal charges for four teenagers. The incident occurred Friday night when the teens allegedly went to toilet-paper trees at Hughes' residence.
According to the Hall County Sheriff's Office, Hughes emerged from his home attempting to stop the group. As the teens fled in two cars, Hughes reportedly tripped and fell into the road, subsequently being run over by a pickup truck driven by Jayden Wallace. Wallace and the other teens attempted to assist Hughes, but he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
