One suspect struck her driver-side window with a gun, demanding she exit. The victim reported being manhandled and threatened with a gun to her ribs. The three juveniles then fled in her stolen vehicle. The following day, Tacoma police located the car, and a high-speed pursuit ensued when the driver attempted to evade officers.
Investigators recovered guns from the vehicle and apprehended the juvenile suspects after they abandoned the car and fled on foot. Adding to the victim's distress, she recently received a traffic violation ticket issued in Seattle for an incident that occurred while her car was stolen.
