The recent arrest of Jaiswal follows the earlier capture of the principal suspect, Vivek Kumar, in October. Kumar, who managed the temple's accounts, is accused of transferring crores of rupees to his own and relatives' bank accounts by submitting fabricated deposit slips. Interrogations revealed that illegally obtained funds were also channeled through Jaiswal's accounts, indicating a coordinated effort.
