An 80-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of murdering Rita Rowley, has died in hospital. Mrs. Rowley, 84, was discovered deceased at a property in Prees Higher Heath on January 27th. Her family described her as a loving mother and a dedicated volunteer.
She dedicated over 20 years to volunteering at an Age UK day centre in Whitchurch. Known for her passion for fashion, she also worked as a seamstress. The arrested man had sustained serious injuries and was in critical condition before his death on Friday.
West Mercia Police stated that both deaths have been referred to the coroner. Authorities confirmed they are not seeking anyone else in relation to Mrs. Rowley's death.
