In a shocking incident on Sunday, a 32-year-old property dealer named Ashish Singh was brutally hacked to death by six armed assailants outside Shree Krishna AC Mall in Surat's Dindoli area. The attack occurred in broad daylight, leaving onlookers stunned.
Singh had been at the mall with friends to attend a blood donation camp. Upon their return from the camp around 3 PM, the group was ambushed by six men riding two mopeds. The assailants, armed with knives and iron rods, launched a sudden and violent attack on Singh.
Despite his friends' attempts to intervene, the attackers inflicted multiple fatal injuries on Singh before fleeing the scene. He was rushed to Baba Memorial Hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his wounds. Police are investigating the motive, with initial suspicion pointing to a recent dispute between Singh and one of the accused, Abhishek Rajput, over which a complaint had been filed.
Dindoli police have registered a case against Abhishek Rajput, Gopal, Satish Maratha, Ganesh Pandey, and two unidentified individuals based on a complaint by Singh's brother. A search operation has been launched to apprehend the suspects.
