A 28-year-old physiotherapist has died after an alleged suicide from the ninth floor of a Surat building. Police are investigating the incident, which occurred Friday outside the Sarthana Business Hub. Preliminary findings point towards suicide, though the motive remains unclear.
CCTV footage reportedly shows the woman, identified as Radhika Kotariya, sitting near a balcony at a café before climbing onto a table and jumping. She was rushed to SMIMER Hospital with severe injuries but was declared dead upon arrival. Investigators are examining her phone records and daily routine.
Kotariya was recently engaged and was scheduled to marry in two months. Her family mentioned she spoke to her fiancé daily. In a separate incident in Sarthana, a 49-year-old woman was found dead in a water tank at her home, suspected to be an accidental fall.
