Comedians Tapped for Disability Awareness Duty

Additionally, the Supreme Court has prompted the Central government to explore the enactment of a stringent law that criminalizes humiliating remarks against persons with disabilities. This proposed legislation is envisioned to be similar in structure to the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, aiming to protect dignity and prevent derogatory commentary.
