A significant vehicle theft operation was disrupted on March 26 when police apprehended four suspects near Dronacharya stadium. The arrested individuals, hailing from Ferozepur and Moga districts of Punjab, were found with two stolen Honda Activa scooters bearing fake number plates.
During interrogation, the accused revealed their gang had 12-14 members who had traveled to the tricity region from Ferozepur. This syndicate allegedly stole motorcycles and scooters from various parts of Chandigarh, subsequently selling them in Ferozepur and Moga for prices ranging between ₹12,000 and ₹15,000 each.
