Police Seize Ancient Coins and Stolen Medical Gear

A 61-year-old resident of east Jerusalem was arrested by Israeli police on Sunday after failing to comply with police directives. The arrest followed a search of the suspect's home, where officers discovered a significant collection of stolen items.
Among the seized items were several ancient coins, meticulously examined by the Israel Antiquities Authority. These artifacts, identified as a Byzantine-era coin, an ancient Islamic coin, and a Roman coin from Emperor Vespasian's reign, are considered to be of substantial historical and cultural value. They are slated for transfer to the state treasury.
In addition to the historical artifacts, law enforcement also recovered a stolen medical device, specifically an oxygen concentrator valued at approximately NIS 12,000. The owner of the oxygen concentrator has been located and the device has been returned. The suspect was transported to the Lev Habira police station for ongoing investigation.
