A juvenile suspect, identified as a resident of Livermore, attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by officers. Despite the arrest, the detention center declined to take custody of the minor, citing unspecified reasons.
Consequently, the juvenile suspect was released to their home. As of Tuesday afternoon, the stolen Acura TLX has not been recovered and remains at large.
