A significant development has occurred in the case of Anna Kepner, found deceased aboard a Carnival Cruise ship last year. Her stepbrother was arrested and charged this week, according to a report citing Anna's father, who is also the suspect's stepfather.
The exact charges against the stepbrother are currently unknown, but he has since been released into the custody of a guardian. All related court records have been sealed, as the suspect is being charged as a juvenile.
Anna, known affectionately as 'Anna Banana,' was discovered on November 8. She was found by a maid, wrapped in a blanket and concealed beneath a bed in the room she shared with her stepbrother during a Caribbean cruise. Her father, Christopher Kepner, and his wife, Shauntel Hudson, along with Hudson's children, were also on board.
