Jersey Police have arrested a man in connection with four separate sexual assaults that occurred in St Helier early Sunday morning. The incidents took place between 06:00 and 07:20 GMT. A swift response led to an arrest at 07:31 GMT, shortly after one of the victims made a 999 call.
The suspect is currently in police custody. Investigators are particularly keen to identify and speak with a woman who was approached by the man around 07:00 GMT near the Coop in Phillips Street. This woman is described as having dark hair and was wearing black trousers, a black jacket, and white trainers.
Several agencies are available to provide support for victims of sexual abuse, including Dewberry House, Jersey Domestic and Sexual Abuse Support, and Victims First Jersey. The police encourage anyone else affected by similar incidents to come forward.
