Ross Davidson, a former singer for the 1980s band Spandau Ballet, has been convicted of rape and attempted rape.
Davidson, also known by his stage name Ross Wild, was found guilty by a jury at Wood Green Crown Court. The verdicts were reached after the jury deliberated for more than 11 hours.
The 37-year-old had pleaded not guilty to the rape of a woman which occurred in London in March 2015. He also denied charges related to the attempted rape and sexual assault of another woman. These alleged incidents took place in Thailand in December 2019.
