The Reiners were discovered deceased in their Brentwood home by their daughter, Romy, on December 14. According to the Los Angeles County medical examiner, they died from multiple sharp force injuries. Jake Reiner wrote of his daily struggle, noting that every action is now connected to his parents' murder.
