In a shocking turn of events, a CISF head constable, identified as Prakash, allegedly committed a heinous crime against his own father, Rampal, in Pipar City's Sathin village. The incident occurred Thursday morning when Prakash, who was on leave from his duty in Jaipur, reportedly engaged in a heated argument with his 68-year-old father near their farm hut.
Authorities state that during the altercation, Prakash, aged 38, resorted to extreme violence, striking his father with a pickaxe. The attack proved fatal, and Rampal died on the spot. The commotion drew the attention of neighbors, including Baldev and Kan Singh, who attempted to intervene. However, Prakash allegedly turned his aggression towards them, inflicting injuries on both.
Kan Singh sustained severe injuries and required further treatment in Jodhpur. During initial interrogation, Prakash provided conflicting accounts, his statements ranging from calling his father a traitor to claiming spiritual possession. Cases of murder and attempted murder have been registered based on the report filed by Baldev. The accused has been apprehended, and the body was released to the family after a postmortem examination.
